Planetary gear reducer / orthogonal / multi-stage / for shafts

These kinds of reducers are specially designed to turn large platforms on cranes, excavators and fork lifts. They therefore need very high reduction rates. FELLAR have manufactured reducers of this kind with velocity ratios up to 3,500 and weighing up to 25,000 kg.

The most important features in the design and manufacture of these kinds of reducers are the cone group, to provide the orthogonal features, the number of planet gear stages (between 1 and 4 are available), and adaptability to special shape and size requirements.


Basic planetary-orthogonal model with mounting flange. (Same arrangement for all other types).

Basic model with base plate for the motor incorporated and braking system with torque limiter.

Basic model with output shaft extension for situations where drive at a distance is required.

Basic model, standard or with extension, with or without driving pinion to drive platforms with external and internal gear rings.
