R series

Rigid coupling

The R series provides limited torque, through the clamping force between the coupling and shaft. The unit is designed with driving, and driven shafts, to maintain the relative angular position.

The device is offered in metallic versions, which accomodate no shaft misalignment. The non-metallic forms provide small amounts of misalignment. Also, the device ensures thermal expansion, that results to radial misalignment if both shafts are radially constrained.

The series is suitable for use in different applications such as devices with internal clearances, or flexible components. Also, it can be utilized for incidental clamping, even without a flexible coupling.
