To choose true SG strain gauges, it is recommended to refer to the Strain Gauge Ordering Code regulations to have a clear conception about the ordering code of BCM strain gauges. In the gauge classification for class-A, all the SG are customized for detector or transducer operations, so they are concealed gauges by the cover layer to avoid moisture effecting the gauges. The ECF-version SG are suggested for accurate transducer utilization. In case, the electric resistance is not adequate for the available ECF version, the Karma gauges of EKF version can be replaced for accurate transducers. But the EKF-version of gauges has to be furnished nearly with tinned sold-dot, otherwise it is tough to weld the electric linking leads on to the karma gauges. All the BCM class-A strain gauges have both satisfying temperatures for zero drift (STC) and creep for detector bodies creep (creep code).
