The Collision Sensing Terrain Follower is designed to sense the unevenness of surfaces. The machine is manufactured with an advanced and innovative technology that allows machine standoff to be set initially and continues the operation without any involvement from the operator's side. The machine automatically and constantly maintains the accurate standoff by compensating for any changes in the material's height.

During operation, the Collision Sensing Terrain Follower also senses any potential collisions that could occur and instantly pauses the machine in order to protect it from possible damage. The machine has a simple and compact body design that can be retrofitted to any motorized Z-axis or tilted A-jet cutting head, without requiring any additional programming.
