Are you struggling with an expensive rheometer that only produces unstable results when testing low viscosity (e.g. below 1, 10 or even 100 mPa.s) samples? Drawing on A&Ds proven sensor technology for high-resolution analytical balances, the RV-10000A Tuning Fork Vibro Rheometer is a breakthrough alternative to conventional methods in the research of non-Newtonian fluid properties, especially for ease and precision in low viscosity measurements.

With its sensor sensitivity heightened through the sharp resonance phenomena of a tuning fork, the RV-10000A can detect viscosities from as low as 0.3 mPa.s and then measure continuously to a maximum of 25,000 mPa.s. Further, it achieves an excellent repeatability of 1% of the displayed value (by standard deviation) for its entire measurement range.

Its dedicated controller can automatically change the vibration speed (shear rate) and capture data in the manner you programmed. It also shows and graphs measured values in real time so that viscosity changes as a function of time, temperature, and/or shear rate become plainly visible.

Other unique features of the RV-10000A include: (1) sample fluid temperature control using any standard separately purchased temperature control tank; (2) easy setup/cleaning and very quick measurement (only 20 seconds required for initial stabilization); (3) little interference to the sample fluid, allowing measurements of samples such as foams without breaking their tiny air bubbles or dispersion systems while they are settling; (4) measurements of fluids in motion possible; and (5) easy calibration by yourself, including a one-touch, simple calibration function using water.
