The VP series was developed to be a dedicated power interface for system boards in computing platforms. Although designed for platforms utilizing IEC 60297 packaging, the VP Series can be used in any similar application.

Eight size 16 power contacts rated to 35 amperes each
Four level sequential mating
Large Surface Area (LSA) contact system. Low contact resistance saves energy
PCB mount solder and press-fit terminations
Compatible with all high speed connectors; no notching of the PCB required
