The NEMA 4X (IP66) sealed KIF6000 Series medical keyboard is a fully enclosed Plug-n-Play keyboard that is offered to Systems Integrators and Commercial End Users. The compact size has 69 keys with 101/104 key functionality and the original Industrial Mouse? (Joystick Cursor Controller) mouse pointer. The heavy duty PCB is layered with thick "hard gold" contacts and the white FDA silicone elastomer has molded "hard carbon" pill contacts that combined have been proven to provide more than 10 years of reliable, maintenance free, service. The white FDA silicone elastomer with its 2mm key travel provides excellent tactile feel, even while wearing gloves, but most impressive is the impermeable molecular barrier sealing protection obtained from a Parylene C conformal coating process. This compact hygienic keyboard is impervious to infectious pathogens or carcinogenic compounds with allows complete removal by proper decontamination, sanitization, or sterilization procedures.
