Sew-Eurodrive’s SL2 Synchronous Linear Motors are precise, reliable and safe solutions for transportation, handling and production applications. Mechanical transition elements such as ball bearings, spindles and toothed belts that are usually subjected to wear are not required in the operation of this unit due to the direct generation of force and linear motion.

A laminated iron core and advanced and upgraded winding technology deliver a perfect force to density ratio. The SL2 linear motor is cooled via a convection cooling system and offers accuracy, good control, availability and is virtually free of the need for any maintenance. The SL2 is the most ideal linear motor for pick-in-place transportation services and various handling applications that require dealing with heavy-duty loads.
