Three-Phase Capacitor Start Motor DR 52.1x60-4 features a solid design with maintenance free for life. The unit is built of bright metal die-cast aluminium end shields, ball bearings and includes built-in fan for surface cooling to ensure maximum life. The motor offers degree of protection IP 44 when flangemounted. VDE 0530 insulation material corresponding to insulating class E, is used. Passivated casing or die-cast aluminium casing ensures surface protection. Different design diameters and design lengths enables to obtain the stated power ranges.

The multi-grooved stator of the motor includes threefold winding that combines with the phase-shifting capacitor to create a symmetrical rotating field at the rated working point of the motor. The rotor features squirrel-cage type design. Two- or four-pole motors with various design lengths and diameters provide rated torques from 0.75 to 12.6 Ncm. The motor can be combined with reduction gear units, brakes, and tachogenerator systems.
