The basic three phase FIMET motors have been modified in a suitable way in order to be installed in environments affected by potentially exploding atmospheres for dust and/or gas presence , in compliance with what has been defined by the 94/9/EC directive. In particular the following versions are available:
Dust
II 2D, zone 21
The asynchronous three phase motors of M2AX , MAX e MX series, in sizes from 63 up to 400 , have been homologated by the notified body INERIS n° 0080 and are marked:
IP 65 , T 125 °C or T 135 °C or T 145 °C
II 3D, zone 22
The asynchronous three phase motors of 3MAR series, in sizes from 63 up to 132 , and of M2AR, MAR and MR, in sizes 63 ÷ 400, have been homologated and internally certified and are marked:
IP 55 , T 125 °C
Gas
II 3G, zone 2
The asynchronous three phase motors of M2AG , MAG e MG series, in sizes from 63 up to 315 , have been homologated by the notified body INERIS n° 0080 and are marked:
II 3G EEx nA II T3 , or
II 3G EEx nAC II T3 , or
II 3GD EEx nA or nAC II T3 T 200 °C IP 55
