Suitable for use in various applications across industries such as food, electrical, mechanical, engineering and semiconductor industry, POLYTETRAFLON® fluoropolymer tubing is manufactured to meet the different criteria depending on the specific application it is meant to be used for. It boasts an almost universal resistance against chemicals as well as resistance against adhesion, high temperature and even physiological harmlessness. It also has excellent electrical properties, ensuring great results.

These tubes are classified depending on their production process. The first group includes all PTFE tubings, produced through the process of Paste Extrusion, where lubricant is added in a cartridge, undergoes a sintering process, and allowed to volatise at 100%. It is then moulded to come up with PTFE paste. The second process is Screw Extrusion, and applies to ECTFE, ETFE, FEP, PFAm and PVDF tubings.
