Laser noise attenuator

The Conoptics Laser Stabilization System or the LASS-II is manufactured to minimize noise intensity in laser beams. It maximizes signal to noise ratio of a laser over a broad bandwidth. Customers can have several options on request. This system is amde as an electro-optic feedback loop that has the ability to lower the amplitude inequality that are typically associated with lasers. Its system permits analog programming of the laser throughput with a provided internal as well as external reference input. This system is best used for recording systems where there is a need to change laser power as a function of position on the medium used like video discs and flat bed recorders, among others. It is equipped with feedback electronics, power supply and electo-optic modulator with integrated beam-splitter and photodiode amplifier.
