Operating principle
The storage hopper can be fed manually or through mechanical or pneumatic systems (if installed). The product is dosed automatically according to the amounts pre-set on the PLC interface through a precision metering screw controlled by an inverter. The screw can directly feed a weighing hopper (sequential dosing) or perform a loss in weight dosage from the storage hopper (multiple ingredients simultaneously) in order to reduce the preparation time of the batch.

Micro-dosing systems can sample product on continuous production lines.
