The AUMA bevel gearboxes of series GK are robust units with corrosion protection and can deliver high torques up to 16,000Nm. These are employed for the operation of various kinds of valves such as globe valves, gate valves, etc. GK gearboxes are designed for two levels of operations, open-close duty for 15 minutes (S2) and modulating duty with 25% intermittent duty (S4).

GK gearboxes are equipped with an electric multiturn actuator for motor operation and a handwheel for manual operation, thereby providing operational flexibility. Various versions through GK 10.2 to GK 40.2 are available, of which some are single-stage (10.2-25.2) and others are double-stage (30.2-40.2) gearboxes.
