The DC input centrifugal blowers of Oriental motor offer large static pressure, and and can make directional air flow suitable for drying, cooling, or forcing air via duct work. The low speed alarm type gives an output when the fan is ingressed with foreign objects and the speed drops because of the service life span which makes it practicable to replace the one before it stops operating. The pulse sensor type gives a pulse signal output when the cooling fan is rotating. This feature enables the user to adjust the desire output speed for alarm activation as two pulses are output per revolution of the fan. The speed of the fan is monitored as the host controller reads the output pulses.
