The Headworks® Inc. Screwpactor is a high efficiency and extremely reliable shafted spiral conveyor/compactor suitable for use dewatering screenings and reducing volume. Apart from the lubrication of the gearbox and greasing of the bearing unit, this device is completely maintenance-free.

Screen solids are fed into the Screwpactor sieve zone, allowing free water to drain and the optional wash zone can be used to convey solids into the washer compactor where the screenings are spray washed to further reduce organic content. Following this, the press zone compacts the screenings, after which the discharge tube exerts additional pressure and dewatering before directing screenings to a dumpster or the Bagging Module (optional unit). This is a stable and highly reliable unit that will improve productivity.
