Fiber optic converter / Ethernet

The 2365 model is a gigabit Ethernet to fiber optic transceiver card. It is compatible with 2160-10/100/1000. The device supports IEEE 802.3x 10/100/1000Base-T/1Gbps twisted pair link. The model consist of an automatic speed detection and adjustment. It operates on a full duplex condition.

The model has an automatic master determination. It consist of LED indicators such as optical sync, optical signal, 10/100/1000 operation, activity and buffer error. The model can be available with 850 nm multimode or 1310 nm or 1550 nm single mode optics. On using a single mode option, multiple optical power configurations can support 5, 10, 20 to 80 km fiber runs.

The card's main purpose is to extend the length of Ethernet links to 80 Km. The 2365 model becomes transparent to the system once installed. The units should be installed in pairs.
