Raychem WCSF tubing is a heavy wall (except for WCSF-50-3/1 series), flame-retarded, heat-shrinkable tubing.to provide a positive environmental seal, It can be pre-coated with a hot melt, radiation-resistant. It is designed for electrical insulation capable of taking up to 1000 V and general purpose sealing applications where flame and radiation resistance and severe environmental performance are required. WCSF tubing is suitable for a wide range of jointing or connection applications namely Class IE wire and cable systems in accordance with IEEE 383 where each connection is individually insulated and sealed. Alternatively, related applications including sealing, oversheath replacement and strain relief throughout the plant can be achieved by using a wide range of sleeves. Kits of components for specific applications are also possibly created by WCSF Tubing. The heat-shrinkability of Raychem WCSF tubing provides quick and simple application as well as positive aesthetic inspection and a pre-built insulation thickness in order to assure installation.
