The capacitive level sensor SC404 is a type of a level transmitter that is equipped with an integrated electronic module being enclosed within an aluminum or nylon housing. It is a 2-wire loop powered unit that is capable of providing a 4-20 mA output. Set-up and configurations can be conducted in an empty tank. This flexible level measurement device suits well in different industrial works including a variety of liquids, powders, and plates.

Additionally, the SC404 is made specifically with 316SS hardened rods and also with 316SS cables. It can also be made of a secondary reference rod or a reference sheath built into the process connection. It requires attention when selecting the correct configuration and installing in proper location.
