Electric chamfering machine / for tubes

This machine turns the tube at a variable and adjustable axial speed ranging from 1.3 to 14.8 mm/rev.

The electric motor (1200 Watt) can change the number of machine revs according to 5 rotation speeds (Rpm = 36,49,78,104,122 rev/min.). This allows for various cutting speeds depending on the diameter, thickness and type of material, the lubro-refrigerant oil used, etc. and for the achievement of optimised cutting conditions and roughness.

Thanks to the features above, the range of the advancement speeds per rev is quite wide, as Table 1 shows, and varies from 0.01 and 0.42 mm/rev.

The machine is supplied with an automatic stop system, and its travel is set on the display based on the desired machining operations.

The machine return to its initial position is automatically controlled by reversing the axial travel after the return signal is given.

An electro-magnetic sensor is featured for PTO stop.

When the preset number of work cycles is achieved, these are stopped automatically in order to warn the operator about the need to check the tools for wear (the number of cycles is set as desired by the user).

If the pneumatic clamp that secures the machine to the tube gets released, a safety stop sensor engages to safeguard the operator?s safety and the tools integrity.

The display shows all the variables of the setup parameters entered for the on-going work cycle.
