CNC turning center / vertical / 2-axis

A two axis CNC with a single vertical spindle precision boring/ turning machine. The Kasper model 50 is heavy duty spindle with 8 inch spindle nose. The Fanuc 30HP is heavy duty with variable speed drive. The sliding unit on both the axis are rugged in construction, hardened and have ground steel ways with anti friction material on the base plate.One is a box way and the other a vee way without any gibs for future adjustment.

For the ease of future maintenance there are absolute positioning scales.They have a better floor layout requiring less space due to the mirror image design. The changeover of part family is easy due to a programmable tailstock. 8or 12 position Turret is optional. The standard maximum chuck size has OD of 14" (1050mm) with a turning diameter maximum of 14" (1050mm). They have a maximum turning length of 11.75" (300mm) with a swing radius of maximum 9.375"(240mm). The spindle power is in range of 25hp(19Kw) to 30hp (22Kw) with a maximum speed of 6000. the slide travel distance "X" is 8" (200mm).
