Pietro Carnaghi presents model AC vertical turning centre. It has a compact design, and a very sturdy thermo symmetrical structure. The column is fixed to the table base. A combination of all these features results in a sturdy structure offering highest durability and balance.

The movable crossrail is designed and sized to withstand severe cutting conditions. Two horizontal sliding guides are included in the front part. The vertical ram saddle is supported by these guides in its horizontal movement via hydrostatic pockets. For topmost cutting performance, the area between the superior and the inferior guide way is marked.

Model AC is available in a variety of configurations, such as varying ram sections, turning height, and accessories for machining and measuring probes. This makes the model flexible and adaptable to all requirements. These include the most advanced finishing applications, such as aeronautics components, and the most demanding cutting tasks, like forging rings.
