Precision motorized rotary chuck for automatic rotation, rotary actuators, and robotic positioning. Great for low speed (60 RPM when motor runs at 10,800 half-steps/second), high torque, 10 pound loads, and very fine angular positioning, with exceptional low backlash. Total gear ratio of 13:1 results in 10,800 motor half-steps per revolution and an accuracy of 1/30th degrees (2 arc-min) per step. For ease of rotation, this gear ratio gives you an even number of 30 motor half-steps per degree.

This motorized chuck include a stepper motor with integrated controller/driver for easy operation. The chuck has 3 dependent self-centering chucks, and includes an extra set of outside chucks, chuck key, built-in RS232-TTL adapter, 24v 80 watt AC/DC power supply 100-240 VAC 50/60 hz, AC power cord, 6 foot RS232 cable, and I/O cable. This is a complete system that runs right out of the box.

Controller can automatically index to multiple angles, repeat, change direction, time-delay, wait for input signal, and other motion control features. Can be driven many ways: CNC input (step and direction), external manual switches, serial port with simple commands, standalone (no computer needed), or up to 6 inputs.
