Fill Level Probe

The probe is used for sensing the fill level at 4 stages in water or other conductive liquids. It has five partially insulated rod electrodes, which hang out at different lengths inside the medium up to the switching point of that stage. When the fill level in the container rises up to the electrode, it gets wet and the presence of medium is registrated due to its conductivity. The standard version has a length of 400 mm, which can be cut easily by the user himself. Alternatively, the sensor can also be delivered according to the customer?s demands. The electrodes are insulated in the upper area. That means the sensor is also suitable for areas where condensation may occur, for example for the use in a heated medium. The terminal compartment is provided with a membrane to prevent water condensation. The hanging construction of the probe prevents dirtying and therefore ensures safe switching behaviour also in polluted media.
