The MC-Sockets type of BL...N is distinguished by its simple handling. For making contact, plugs SP...N or S...N are just pushed-in and disconnect, are also pulled-out. MC-Sockets are appropriate to screw into busbars directly (flat or tube profile), into housing, conductor rails, contact blocks, etc. These sockets are slotted just at one end apt for the suitable mounting tool. BL-sockets with outside thread needs to be screwed against fixed stop, or else screwed into busbar with 2 washers and 2 nuts. For extreme mounting conditions and loads and where any stop isn?t possible, socket with exterior Multilam rather than a thread is accessible. Before assembly these threads needs to be covered with thin lubricating film.
