The Small form factor multi-channel expanded beam connector is perfect for any high-vibration environment. Examples of this can be on-board vehicles or even other mechanized The end user should select the best design that is most suited to the application or cable type. For use in harsh environments, the cable assemblies have been custom tailored and ruggedized. MIL-DTL-38999 and ARINC 600 connectors come with ceramic ferrule that are of industry standard at 1.25mm and this is for use with general purpose rectangular connectors. The modular rectangular connectors are able to accept standard ARINC 801 optical termini, in a way that is compact and lightweight in design.
