Power cord receptacle

TE Connectivity AMP power cord receptacle are used for CEE-22, the international standard electrical specification applied in most European nations. Due to configuration controls, CEE rates it for 250 volts, 6 amperes. AMP receptacle is certified by CSA certifies for 250 volts, 15 amps. AMP receptacle is recognized by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. under the Component Recognition Program, at 250 volts, 15 amperes when wired with appropriate 16 AWG [1.25-1.44 mm²] wire.

The AMP Power Cord Receptacle features a three-position male configuration and a polarized, thermoplastic housing suitable for rack or panel mounting. The tin-plated crimp and snap-in contacts feature a rectangular cross-section. The ground contact extends .118 [3] further ahead than the power contacts when installed in the housing to provide proper grounding prior to power engagement.
