The LH 8 is built with a newly developed vibro-reduced housing, where the hammer mechanism floats in the canopy, dampens vibrations throughout the entire hammer body.

It significantly reduces the vibrations transmitted to the user's hands and arms. Atlas Copco's HAPS TM, Hand and Arm Protection System, aids in minimizing the user's exposure to vibrations.

The updated structure permits a low vibration exposure level for the operator, aimed at a given working period. As the operator's convenience is one of the requirements, the enhanced versions also provide an effective noise reduction system.

The unit has a huge vibro-reduced D-handle for good handling. This is adimensioned D-handle with adequate room for a gloved hand. The front handle delivers full management and support when starting a cut.
