Safety chucks add convenience and safety to web operations. Tilt rings allow fast roll changes and only open with the socket in the upright position. Available for foot or flange mounting with keyed shaft extensions. Brake adapter kits available for mounting tension brake models TA, SA and BTBA. Safety chucks lock automatically as soon as the roll starts to turn. Closing rings with standard square "U" and "V" socket designs. The unique "V" socket design allows square shaft journals to orient quickly into proper seating in the chuck socket. Locking mechanisms and finger guards are standard.
