Teledyne LeCroy current probes are the reliable current measurement instruments that don't need breaking of the circuit or insertion of the shunt to make reliable measuments. This device is based on the Hall effect and is ideal for measuring accurate impulse current.

It is available in a variety of models that are suitable for a wide range of applications. The complete range of Teledyne LeCroy current probes is available in different models with bandwidths of up to 100MHz, sensitivity of 10 MA/dev and peak current of up to 700 A. One can combine multiple current probes to make measurement in three-phase system. Single current probe can be used to make instantaneous power measurements. These are often used in applications that need designing and testing of switching power supplies, electric vehicles, motor drives and other power supplies that are uninterruptable.

In order to completely integrate Teledyne LeCroy current probes with oscilloscopes, they need external power supply, which helps in displaying the waveform on the screen of the oscilloscope. The Teledyne LeCroy current probes do not require additional hardware as they are powered through Teledyne Lecroy ProBus.
