The Omicron-R series is a unit manufactured by Robbi. It is a grinding machine with a base that have lubrication plant on which it provides oil to the guides by means of a constant oil flow distributed on the complete length.

It has also a table that is manufactured in two parts having both in normalized and stabilized cast iron. Its work-head was equipped with fixed and turnable spindle. Its wheel-head was composed of two carriages in normalized cast iron. And its tailtock with the work-head supports the work-piece weight and the force generated by the grinding operation.

In a way, the unit conforms to the international precision ISO 2433. Its grinding centers are between 0,3 and 0, 4 mm.
