Cellular density meter

The Biochrom WPA CO8000 is designed for measuring the density of cells in suspension such as E.coli, yeast, cells and other cell cultures. It accommodates a variety of cuvettes and tubes, including 10, 12, and 16mm diameter test tubes. Due to this setting, the Erlenmeyer side arm flasks can be used with the instrument.

It can work as soon as it is switched on, as it has no warm up time. The instrument can also measure the cell density of the cultures. The results, which are given in Absorbance Units (OD), will be stored in the memory. A maximum of 99 sample results can be read on the screen. The instrument can also be connected to a PC or printer to download the results.
