Siemens RUGGEDCOM RS910 is a utility grade, serial device server featuring an integrated, fully managed, Ethernet switch, meant for providing dependable operation in harsh electrical and challenging climates/environments.

The RS910 is configurable with 2 serial ports (RS485/RS422/RS232) and/or up to 3 Ethernet ports (copper or fiber). The device is capable of interconnecting several kinds of IEDs (intelligent electronic devices) with distinct communication methods.

RS910 results less number of connectivity devices, thereby generating savings in overall system costs. It also reduces capital expenditure for new equipment by extending the service life of existing legacy IEDs .
