The MPV is a piezo-resistive pressure sensor manufactured by AirCom. It is suitable for use in converting input pressure into a digital electrical signal.

The sensor has a standard voltage rating of 15V DC to 30V DC, with reverse voltage protection. It is equipped with a 7- or 16-pin connector for an additional output signal of 4 mA to 20 mA. The unit comes in 3 pneumatic connections, which are P+ for positive pressure, P- for vacuum, and P+/P- for differential pressure. The higher pressure is connected to P+ quick connector ports, with a diameter of 4 mm at the back.

The MPV is enclosed in a glass fiber-reinforced Noryl plastic casing, with an IP20 protection grade. In addition, it showcases a 3 1/2-digit LCD display, with 12.7 mm tall, black numbers.
