Drying unit / low-temperature

The Conti Dry is a low-temperature dryer used for drying sludge, fermented biomass and sludge. It has a modular design, can easily be set up ready to operate, and is compatible with the Compact-Dry line due to its higher capacity and water evaporation rate. The working unit is rapidly assembled using a combination of several completely equipped segments that can be activated in a simple plug-and-play manner.
This dryer can be equipped with various add-ons such as belt and tray cleaning system. The number of segments is defined by required throughput and the evaporation capacity.
The inner design of the segments used can be customized based on individual requirements. The individual components are equipped with heat exchangers to utilize the waste heat from cogeneration units (to the temperature between 60 and 90 degrees Celsius) for heating up the device. The throughput is in direct relation with the temperature which can be increased by using thermal oil, hot water, flue gas or steam.
This device has ATEX certification thanks to the constant temperature supervision inside the Belt Dryer.
It provides water evaporation that ranges from 500 to 5000 kg/h. The inlet DS is between 15% and 60% while the outlet DS is between 60% and 95%. It consumes between 750 and 900 kW/t H2O of thermal energy and 70 to 100 kW/t H2O of electrical energy.
