Pressure balance element

This pressure balance element has a special membrane which is made from PES (polyethersulfone) and has pores which are several hundred times bigger than water vapor molecules yet thousands of times smaller than water droplets. It enables easy air exchange and therefore ensures that the enclosed area stays dry.

This AGRO pressure balance element has a special structure making it air-permeable but not water-permeable. It has a rating of IP 68 at pressures up to 0.8 bars and its membrane is oil-, water- and dirt-repellent.

The pressure balance element has a sinter filter which enables greater air transfer due to the coarser nature of the sinter discs material. Extreme moisture and pressure fluctuations in very large housings can be balanced easily. The sinter discs protect against insects and the splashing of water.
