The MTD042 linear actuator is built in a flat profile design, with bi-directional dual carriage movement. The body is built from a 42 mm x 75mm or 1.65 in x 2.95, in an anodized aluminum profile.

This permits optimum corrosion resistance. The linear actuator's outer surfaces are precisely extruded, which provides a flush mounting function on both sides and the base, to facilitate a approved, clean and simple installation.

The T-slots along the full body length of the linear actuators enable several mounting orientations and ancillary items, such as sensors, to be mounted straight to its body. The linear motion of the units is provided by the use of a steel reinforced timing belt. These belts deliver good speed, sufficient force and optimum acceleration, while sustaining precise positioning.
