The MTB042 series is a range of linear actuators, constructed from a 42 mm x 42 mm or 1.65 in x 1.65 in body profile. The unit is built from anodized aluminum for corrosion resistance. This allow the units to work in tough conditions.

The linear actuators outer surfaces are precisely extruded, which provides for flush mounting on both sides and the base for facilitating qualified, clean and simple installation. The T-slots along the full body length guarantee mounting on several orientations with ease, and for ancillary items, such as sensors, to be mounted straight to its body.

The linear actuator's motion is run by a steel-reinforced timing belt. These belts deliver optimum speed, sufficient force and adequate acceleration, while sustaining precise positioning. The units have a fully enclosed housing with ball-guided rail.
