The MTB055 Series is a range of linear actuators, assembled in a 55 mm x 55 mm, or 2.17 in x 2.17 in body profile. They are built from anodized aluminum to resist corrosion. This allows the unit to operate in tough conditions.

The unit's outer surfaces are precisely extruded, which offers flush mounting on both sides and the base to facilitate a qualified, clean and simple installation.

T-slots along the full body length guarantee mounting on a number of orientations easily and for ancillary items, like sensors, to be mounted straight to its body. The linear motion of the actuator is run by means of a steel reinforced timing belt. These belts offer optimum speed, sufficient force and adequate acceleration, while sustaining precise positioning.
