Brown's LP- and LDP-Model horizontal trim presses are developed with added stroke length for pre-punching and trimming deep draw containers in a progressive trim application. This enhanced stroke capability, fitted with the accurate linear guiding of the platens, removes the demand for an intermediate trim press to pre-punch.

The press provides platen rocking due to offset tool loads is not a factor. This prolongs the die's service life. Taller platens are supplied for supporting the progressive trim tools. An expanded side window opening permits side loading of die sets, with pre-punch or perimeter trim capabilities.

It is designed with guards to provide high visibility and easy access for operator safety. Also, it is equipped with electrical interlocks, which are standard on moving guards.
