transfer in either direction through a single optical fiber by employing separate
wavelengths travelling in either direction; this can greatly enhance the performance
of singlemode fiber optic networks. Bi-Directional SFPs are regularly deployed in
telecommunication, data,video environments and are suitable for FTTH, FTTx,
Fiber Channel,SAN, LAN, ATM/SONET applications.
Yamasaki Single Fiber Bi-Directional Gigabit SFP Transceivers are designed to
work at speeds up to 1.25Gbps with LC connectivity and are sold as a color coded
pair. These units comply with Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA). This ensures
compatibility with all major brands.including Cisco®
