The thermoIMAGER TIM 160 is powered through use of a single USB cable, making the system a true plug-and-play unit. The device possesses measuring ranges of -20 to 100°C, 0 to 250°C, and 250 to 900°C, and comes with an optical resolution of 160 x 120 pixels and a spectral range of 7,5 to 13µm. Data collected by this device is streamed from the camera to the software via the USB 2.0 cable, which all occurs in real time.

The device can support various exchangeable lenses with 6, 23 and 48°FOV, and this a a very lightweight unit of 250g, with a compact housing design of 45 x 45 x 62mm. In addition to this, the thermoIMAGER TIM 160 comes with IP65 protection, and there is an optional cooling jacket from 160°C ambient temperatures.
