Flexible shaft coupling

The servo couplings are designed to deliver excellent flexibility in connecting two misaligned or axially moving shafts. The couplings provide outstanding stress-relief to the connection which would otherwise be subjected to a high degree of stresses from conventional rigid couplings.

The couplings have been put through stringent testing even beyond MIL-HDBK-5A standards to test the durability and fatigue parameters for the rotating beam and the 2024T4 QQA-225/6 Aluminum construction. The military standard tests prove that the beam can be bent to a maximum arc limit (the maximum misalignment they are designed for) for an impressive six million rounds with no let-up in service. This indicates that the beam has an ever-lasting and infinite service life.

The outstanding six short beam design facilitates zero hysteresis and loss in motion. The couplings are perfect for use in resolvers, motor drives and encoders.
