Overview
Depending on stem type and moisture content, the IB-F stem flattener gives the stems a considerably higher filling power than unflattened material. Another advantage of this method is the way it modifies the stems' fibre structure, giving it a texture that is more suitable for your blend and the cigarette manufacturing process.

The new automation option considerably increases ease of use by:

Automatic roller gap adjustment
Automatic detection and discharging of clogged material
Capacity: up to approx. 3,200 kg/h

Features
Hard chill-cast rollers with dust-tight roller bearings
Stem alignment for better stem feed
Two-medium nozzles (water/steam) for moistening the rollers
Choke-up monitor
IB-S grinder unit for periodic roller dressing (optional)
Automation option

Simple input of roller gap via the control panel while the machine is running makes for greater ease of use.
Feed is automatically stopped for the duration of the choke-up and is enabled again when the roller gap has been readjusted to the original value.
Discharging of clogged material is handled easily and automatically, via the discharge flap, into an SRE discharge conveyor (additional option).
