Alpha 1-2 LDplus is compactly built table top model providing effective lyophilisation of specimens in day to day laboratory use. It allows drying manifold for eight round-bottom flasks, wide neck bottles or ampoule distributors. It uses the Double-chamber method with condenser capacity of 2.5kg and ice condenser temperature of - 55°C. Simplicity in its use due to the "LYO Display LDplus" self-explanatory interface to control routine freeze drying processes, combining functionality and convenient operation. A Graphic LC display gives a clear layout to visually represent process data (ice condenser temperature, process time, section time and vacuum) with additional menu guidance in three languages German, English and French. It has a vacuum control for optimization/reduction of process times (electromagnetic pressure control valve available as accessory) with possibility of conversion of product temperature and vacuum according to the vapor pressure curve above ice. It uses RS-232 communications port for data transfer .
