The Cross Sheargard Clutch comes with a very unique Wedge Pin, which provides protection from overload. The device can offers protection at a low cost using its synchronous and indexing drives. It offers reliable torque settings and operation that is stable. The Cross Sheargard Clutch can work with Standard Torque Limiter Platewheels and Roller Chain Couplings. The device is available with a wide range of preset torque ratings and optional sensor plate to isolate the drive in the case of an overload. The Standard stock Sheargard Clutches are available in 5 sizes. These can provide a torque range from 40 to 10,000 Nm. The units can be customized to provide torque capacity of up to 125,000 Nm.
