SP-Series Tiny-Clutches is a line of wrap spring clutches. The device is available in many variants such as Overrunning, On-Off, Indexing, Adjustable Indexing & Positive Stop Indexing. This wide range makes it suitable for various applications. Its basic spring clutch consists of three parts which are an input hub, an output hub, and a spring.
SP-Series Tiny-Clutches helps tightening the grip of a spring to the hub using force. In this free direction, a minor drag is caused by the fact that the spring is a little smaller than the drums. The device can work with the shafts up to 16mm & torque loads up to 250in/lbs. It can also be customized for other dimensions. These clutches may come with gears, sprockets, pullies or as complete mechanical assemblies.
