Sonel presents MPI-525 multifunction electrical installations meter. The device is useful for several measurements.

MPI-525 can be used to measure short-circuit loop. Impedance can be measured with 23A current (44A phase-to-phase) and R=10 short-circuit resistor. It is useful for measurements between 95 to 440V in frequencies between 45 to 65Hz.

MPI-525 can be used for measuring short-circuit loop in distribution network with 0,01 as resolution without triggering RCD (In30mA). It can automatically calculate short circuit and detect phase voltage and phase-to-phase voltage. For automatic measurement, an additional UNI-Schuko plug is provided. For measurement of 3-phase network, it has an AGT adapter.

General and selective RCD can be tested with 10,30,100,300,500 and 1000mA as rated differential current.

MPI-525 is also useful for measuring insulation resistance. It can handle test voltage of 250V, 500V, 1000V, 2500V. It can measure up to a range of 10G. A UNI-Schuko plug is provided for measuring insulation. It ensures auto discharge after measurement. Using an optional AUTO-ISO adapter, all resistances in 3,4,5-wire cables are measured automatically. For insulation resistance characteristic, acoustic signals are provided in intervals of 5sec. It features overvoltage protection, which helps in safety measurement.

MPI-525 can also measure earthing resistance.
