The new SSI Indicator series ID 340 with 2 sensor inputs for SSI and incremental signals are now offering excellent possibilities to calculate the sum and difference along with position.

This unique range of operation will provide the highest flexibility to customers in regards of position control within high sophisticated industrial applications.

These are some of the highlight features of the new products:

? Two fully independent and scalable inputs for sensors or encoders (each either SSI-Master or SSI-Slave or incremental). Operation also in combination with SSI and incremental encoders.
? Operating modes for measuring of two individual positions or combinations of two positions like sum and difference, including full consideration of the directions of rotation of both channels.
? Extremely wide frequency range from 0.01 Hz up to 1 MHz (each input channel)
? Four programmable presets and switching outputs with very fast response (1 kHz)
? Serial interface (RS232, RS485) and high-speed analogue output (model IA) for use of the measuring results with superior control systems.
? Display selectively with 6 or 8 decades.

The units are available in a standard housing with dimensions 96 x 48 mm (3.78 x 1.89 '') and operate from a power supply with either 24 VDC or 24 VAC.

The enhanced SSI Indicator series ID630-ID644 are additionally equipped with 4 output relays (one dry changeover contact each) and according to customers need, these SSI Indicators are also available with up to four front thumbwheel switch sets (preselection switches).
