Developed in response to customer requirements the KMX-083BL is an OEM uncased keyboard module with back light keys. The chassis mount design allows customers developing their own equipment to integrate the keyboard quickly and cost effectively.

A compact 83 key layout provides a high level of keyboard functionality within a small footprint ideally suited to mixing desks and control panels. Cased and panel mount variants are easily developed to suit specific mounting requirements.

The USB HID interface provides single cable connection to the host system including power for the LED backlighting. Multiplexed control of the LED backlighting achieves high brightness with low power consumption. LED brightness may be controlled on-board or from the host via USB HID commands allowing the brightness to be matched with other illumination.
